I'm able to layer up enough that I can ride in reasonably cold weather and remain warm - with the exception of my finger tips. I'm using olympia waterproof gloves right now (bought 'em for the MSF course - didn't stop raining the whole time!) and a dupont grey liner underneath, but I'm thinking I just need to bite the bullet and spend the $ for dedicated winter gloves.

I know some of you will recommend electrics, and I'd like to hear about them. But I'd also like to hear from anyone using the regular old 'low-tech' stuff too. Any brands you can recommend?

thanks in advance.

ps: I don't know how you people who put your bikes away for the winter can do this - that's like some weird celibacy arrangement :-)
